Ben grew up in the Orange County area of Southern California. He completed a double B.S in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at MIT in 2021. There, he conducted research in Prof. Stephen Buchwald's group on copper hydride catalysis. Prior to starting his graduate degree, Ben worked at Sail Biomedicines where he manufactured and purified circular RNA for preclinical drug development. In his free time, Ben enjoys photography, cooking, and playing video games.
