Abby joined the Rowan Lab as a high school lab assistant and continues as an undergraduate researcher. Born and raised in Hyde Park, she attends the University of Illinois at Chicago, pursuing a nursing degree. She enjoys camping, going on road trips with family, and reading fiction.
Abby's spirit bird is the Philippine Fairy-bluebird (Irena cyanogastra).
