Educational Outreach

The Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering (PME) offers educational outreach programs that encourage students from middle school to college to explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields.

The programs are led by our graduate student researchers, who are trained in science communication and pedagogical practices that help them connect with a wide variety of audiences as they serve as mentors and role models for the next generation of scientists and engineers.

During these outreach programs, participants engage in science and engineering through hands-on research and interactive learning, while teachers receive training and resources to incorporate molecular engineering topics into their curriculum.

Our educational outreach programs include:

By participating in some of these outreach opportunities, current students may be able to receive some teaching credit towards their degree requirement.
