Vishnu received his BS in chemical and biomolecular engineering from UC Berkeley in 2019 and his MS in chemical engineering practice from MIT in 2020. He has conducted research under Dr. Steven Hudson at NIST concerning confined flows of surfactant solutions, and under Dr. Ting Xu at UC Berkeley concerning enzyme-encapsulating random heteropolymers and nanoparticle pharmacokinetics. After working as a process engineer in the biotech industry for a couple of years, he returned to school to pursue a PhD at UChicago’s PME, where he is co-advised by Dr. Matthew Tirrell and Dr. Yun Fang.
