Haoyang is from China where he received his B. S. degree of material chemistry from Peking University. During his undergraduate, he investigated n-type conjugated polymer with Professor Jian Pei. Haoyang joined the Department of chemistry in 2020, and he is working towards his Ph. D. in chemistry under the supervision of Professor Stuart Rowan.
