UChicago Prize Postdoctoral Fellowship in Theoretical Quantum Science
These prize postdoctoral fellowships support exceptional researchers working in all areas of theoretical quantum science and provide recipients with the flexibility to work with quantum theory faculty in the Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering and computer science departments. Postdoctoral fellows receive a highly competitive salary, mentoring from multiple faculty members, and the opportunity to network and collaborate with a broad range of researchers.
Quantum Postdoctoral Fellowship
The goal of the Quantum Postdoctoral Fellowship is to identify outstanding early-career scientists engaging in experimental and/or theoretical quantum science and engage them in the quantum research program at The University of Chicago. This three-year award carries a competitive salary and an allocation of $3,000 per year for travel expenses. The purpose of this fellowship is to enable early-career scientists to work with members of the Physical Sciences Division and the Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering in areas of mutual interest in quantum science.
Boeing Quantum Creators Prize
The Boeing Quantum Creators Prize recognizes early-career researchers for work that moves the field of quantum information science and engineering in new directions. The program began in 2021 and expanded in 2023 thanks to a new commitment from Boeing. Prize awardees participate in the annual Quantum Creators Prize Symposium, receive a monetary honorarium, a certificate, and reimbursed travel to the annual Chicago Quantum Summit.
