PME Industry Seminar Series - Arthur Curran

Arthur Curran, from Citrus and Allied Essences, will be telling us about his career and company. He will talk about the sciences of essences, tastes, and smells.

Arthur is part of the core Sales team at Citrus and Allied Essences, a fourth-generation, family-owned business (est. 1933) in the ingredient and flavor industries. Arthur joined the C&A team more than 16 years ago because he wanted to be with a company that was progressive and forward-looking. <br /><br />

Arthur’s family has been in the flavor, ingredient, and extracts industry for three generations: His grandfather was an accountant working for a company that made extracts back in the 1940s. Arthur’s father worked in the industry after military service and then formed his own company in 1975. Arthur worked in the family business through high school and college. Arthur’s first employment after college was selling industrial equipment to gain sales, technical sales, and coordinated engineering technical experience. Arthur officially joined the food and flavor industry in 1981 after 4 years of industrial equipment sales.
