Leah was born and raised in the suburbs of Dallas, TX and went on to study at the University of Texas at Austin, where she received a B.S. in Chemistry and a minor in Materials Science and Engineering in 2022. Her undergraduate research focused on synthesizing and characterizing photoluminescent lanthanide coordination complexes for the development of novel functional materials. Leah joined the Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering in the fall of 2022 and is advised by Professor Shrayesh Patel.
Leah’s research focuses on understanding ion transport through polymeric materials for energy applications.
