Jie-Hao was born and raised in Tainan, Taiwan. He attended the National Taiwan University (NTU) where he received B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering. At NTU, he did undergraduate research focusing on the characterization and application of conducting polymers under the supervision of Prof. Shyh-Chyang Luo. After graduation from NTU, he worked at Academia Sinica as a research assistant working on hydrophilic/hydrophobic polymers under the supervision of Dr. Hsiao-hua Yu. In the Fall of 2021, Jie-Hao joined the PME, and currently works under the supervision of Prof. Shrayesh Patel as a Ph.D. student.
Jie-Hao’s research is focused on investigating and enhancing thermoelectric properties of functional graded doped semiconducting polymers.
