PME Alumni Career Conversation: Sophia Huang (Product Development Scientist)

Join this month's PME Alumni Career Conversation Series with Sophia Huang, PhD alum '23 (materials theme, Esser-Kahn group)!

Sophia was a part of Professor Aaron Esser-Kahn's lab researching piezoelectric-based smart materials. Currently she is a Product Development Scientist at Syensqo (former Solvay) working on thermoplastic composites for aerospace. Specifically, Sophia formulates high-performance thermoplastic polymers (e.g. PEKK) and reinforce the polymers with carbon fiber. Having worked in industry for a full year now, she really enjoys the work-life balance, desk-bench balance, and power dynamic balance that the role offers! This event is appropriate for any PME master's students, PhD students, and postdocs in any discipline.
