Mason Dearborn grew up in the suburbs of Chicago but headed south for his undergraduate career at the University of Southern Mississippi, where he earned his BS in Polymer Science and Engineering. There he used RAFT to synthesize stimuli-responsive polymeric drug delivery vehicles under Dr. Charles McCormick.
