Sarah was born and raised in Guangzhou, China. She went to Cornell University for college and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and then she came to PME for graduate study and joined Juan’s group in 2019.
Sarah’s research primarily focuses on studying ion transport in electrolytes and use this information to conduct inverse design of fluorinated liquid electrolytes and polymer/inorganic composite electrolytes for dendrite-free lithium metal batteries with the help of Machine Learning techniques.
