Andrew is a proud Illinoisan who has lived in the state for his entire life (despite numerous attempts to escape). Andrew obtained his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. There, he was an undergraduate researcher for Professor Nick Jackson where he worked on modeling conjugated polymers. Andrew started his PhD in Molecular Engineering at the University of Chicago in Fall of 2023. He is currently working on multiscale modeling and machine learning for sustainable polymers in the de Pablo group. Outside of research, Andrew enjoys video games, badminton, and anime.
