Zubin is a fourth-year undergraduate molecular engineering major with a specialization in polymers in soft materials from Irvine, California. He has been in the group since spring of 2021 and works on the synthesis of degradable, self-healing vitrimers to serve as replacements for commodity plastics. On campus, Zubin runs CLIME, a collaborative learning program for molecular engineering students on campus and is a part of the Society of Molecular Engineering. When he is not running around the Williams Eckhardt Research Center, Zubin works as a resident blacksmith, and you can probably find him drinking tea or sparkling water (probably both). Zubin plans to pursue a PhD in Chemical Engineering in the fall continuing to work in the field of soft materials.
