Sheila grew up in Austin, Texas and got her bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Dallas in May 2021. Her undergraduate research was in preparing organic perovskite single crystals and thin films for radiation detection devices.
She joined the Rowan group in January of 2022 and works on redox-active polymers for organic batteries.
