Isobel is from Minneapolis where she studied chemical engineering at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. During her undergraduate research in Professor Marc Hillmyer’s group, she investigated dynamic crosslinked materials. Isobel joined the PME in the fall of 2020 and is co-advised by Professor Stuart Rowan and Professor Shrayesh Patel.
Current Research: Isobel is currently working on the synthesis and characterization of ion-conducting nanocomposite polymers based on cellulose nanocrystals.
