As the Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering (PME) at The University of Chicago looks forward to a new year of innovative research and impactful discoveries, we also celebrate some of the most compelling moments of 2023 captured in images.

Over the past year, PME celebrated momentous news such as the Chicago region being named an official U.S. Regional and Innovation Technology Hub for quantum technologies by the Biden-Harris administration, innovative research in battery materials to open new possibilities for EVs and grid scale renewable energy storage, international partnerships with fellow research institutions, and the launch of PME's Quantum Engineering Laboratory, a course where undergraduates work hands-on with state-of-the-art quantum systems.
