Junghyun received his Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Soongsil University in 2015. Subsequently, he earned his PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Yonsei University in 2021 under the supervision of Professor Sang-Yup Lee, focusing on the self-assembly of amino acid-based peptide mimetic molecules. As a postdoctoral researcher, Junghyun studied the Directed self-assembly of block copolymers under the supervision of Dr. Jeong Gon Son until 2024. He joined PME at the University of Chicago as a visiting postdoctoral researcher and currently researches directed self-assembly of block copolymers under the supervision of Professor Paul Nealey.
