Aslan Mansurov graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2017, where he earned his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering with distinction. He is now pursuing a PhD in molecular engineering with emphasis in immunoengineering.
At the University of Minnesota, Aslan worked under Professor Santiago Romero-Vargas Castrillón studying early stages of biofilm formation on ultrafiltration membranes using atomic force microscopy. His current interests in the Hubbell lab include cancer immunotherapy, as well as suppression of inflammation using targeted delivery and protein engineering approaches.
