Join this month's PME career development workshop series, on effective cover letters! This workshop will focus on learning more about best practices for creating tailored and effective cover letters for nonacademic roles - formatting, dos and don'ts, highlighting your strongest assets, and differentiating yourself from other candidates. You'll always want to keep the organization's hiring needs in mind when writing these documents, so come prepared to think about how best to "market" yourself for a specific opportunity. This workshop is appropriate to all master's students, PhD students, and postdocs, in any discipline. Lunch is provided, so registration is required by May 12.
