PME Special Seminar Speaker - Frontiers in Nucleic Acids simulation

DNA is not only the central molecule of life but also a fascinating multiscale problem in scale (from Angstroms to meters) and time (from femtoseconds to hours). Multiphysics approaches are the only possible strategy to obtain information on DNA, but their development have been hindered by the extreme complexity of the simulated systems. I will summarize in my talk recent advances in this field and the promises to be able to reproduce chromatin properties from a theoretical viewpoint.<br /><br />
