PME Research Symposium

This event will showcase the research and communication expertise of PME graduate students and postdocs, and is open to all in the PME community, as well as local alumni and industry partners. We welcome our graduate students, postdocs, faculty, and staff to join this event.

Please sign up by Friday May 17th if you would like to be considered to present either an oral talk or a poster. You’ll have the chance to win a monetary award for best talk and best poster! (You do not need to present to participate, though we do ask that you still register)

The tentative agenda for the event (*subject to change):  

• 9:30-10:00am: Check-In  
• 10:00-11:00am: Keynote with Ramille Shah, Ph.D. - Co-Founder & Chief Scientific Officer, Dimension Inx and Associate Professor at University of Illinois at Chicago 
• 11:00-12:00pm: Oral Talks Session #1   
• 12:00-1:00pm: Lunch and Networking   
• 1:00-2:30pm: Oral Talks Session #2  
• 2:30-3:00pm: Coffee break   
• 3:00-5:00pm: Poster Session and Reception  
• 5:00-5:30pm: Announce Awards and Closing Remarks  

The event will take place entirely in-person, in ERC 161 and the Atrium.
