PME Career Development Workshop: Negotiating and Evaluating Job Offers

Join this month's PME career development workshop series, on negotiating and evaluating job offers! Negotiation is the final stage of a job search - yet it’s often overlooked or left to the last moment. Job candidates are so elated to receive an offer that they often feel like negotiation is inappropriate. But negotiation is an important element of the job process and is expected by most hiring managers, especially in the States. In this session, learn strategies for handling effective and diplomatic negotiations, as well as tips and tactics to delay and leverage multiple offers. This session is appropriate for all graduate students and postdocs, in any discipline, and will focus on nonacademic job negotiations. 

Lunch is provided, so registration is required by May 13. If you register past this date, lunch is not guaranteed.
