PME Career Development: Interviewing Best Practices

This presentation will introduce you to the typical interview process, what questions to expect, and several best practices for answering them effectively. We will focus on interviewing for positions in industry, nonprofit, and government careers. From honing your self-introduction, reflecting on your strengths and weaknesses, and creating impactful storytelling frameworks to relate experiences, we will focus on a few key questions to be prepared for in any interview regardless of your career path. Lunch is provided so registration is required by January 8. This event is open to any and all PME graduate students and postdocs.
