Dr. Jordi Cabana is an associate professor at the University of Illinois Chicago and lead of the Electrochemical Materials and Interfaces group at Argonne National Laboratory. His talk will discuss in-situ X-ray experiments at Argonne for understanding the diffusion of ions through electrode materials during electrochemical biases. This visualization of oxide phases in time informs how the electrode materials structure and composition impact intercalation/deintercalation processes.
