CQE Seminar: High-Performance Single Photon Detectors

Single Quantum develops high-performance single-photon detectors based on superconducting nanowire single-photon detectors. Single photon detection is at the heart of several emerging quantum technologies, optimizing time resolution along with detection efficiency from the visible to the mid-infrared and very low noise. Val Zwiller, Chief Science Officer at Single Quantum, will discuss how his company has implemented these detectors in a range of applications, including Lidar, quantum microscopes, and quantum communication experiments.
