Praveen grew up in Chandler, Arizona and is an undergraduate computer science and physics student at the University of Chicago. He’s done research in astrophysics and solid-state physics in the past and has joined the Jiang group in 2020 to do research in quantum error correction. Praveen hopes to go to graduate school for quantum information science.
Praveen’s current research focuses on quantum random access memory, specifically in regards to refining error correction models for current architectures, seeking error correction codes to lower overhead cost, and looking for any architectural changes that can be made to improve efficiency and/or resource use of querying.
