Ako Ishihara received a BS in pharmacy from Tohoku University and a BS in medicine from Toyama University, both in Japan. After residency in the University of Tokyo Hospital, she is currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Hubbell Laboratory at the University of Chicago.
Ako is studying drug delivery, cancer immunotherapy, and regenerative medicine.
